Michael Weston-Cole is executive Chef/ Patron of Bowland Village Inns, a family-run business behind some of Lancashire’s finest Gastro pubs and is rated in the top 200 food and beverage companies in the UK.
Michael’s Management Company is responsible for running several of the North West’s finest wedding and events venues along with one of the country’s finest championship golf clubs.
Michael is Pervious Winner of Northern Restaurant of the Year and Lancashire Chef of the Year.
Michael’s ‘Ultimate Tasting Menu’ – thought to be the most courses ever to be served in one sitting attracted media attention on both sides of the Atlantic, when the story was reported on U.S television news programme, USA Today.
In more recent years, Michael has committed his time to perfecting his recipes, in particular his special black pudding. Reported by the BBC as “the finest black-pudding in the land”
Michael actively works with local communities to nurture grass roots talent in the industry and is heavily involved with developing the concept for the new chef’s diploma.
