The Master Chefs of Great Britain is run by an Executive Committee of ten paid-up members of the MCGB who meet bi-monthly to ensure the smooth running of the association and ensure that it meets its aims and objectives.
The Secretary is responsible for the day to day running of the association and reports directly to the Executive Committee.
Membership of the Executive Committee is open to any member of the association who wishes to be involved in its administration and overseeing that the professional standards set by the constitution are adhered to and met in full.
Each member of the Executive Committee generally serves for a maximum of five years after which time they must step down for a minimum of one year.
Executive Committee members are required to attend at least four of the six meetings held in any given year, failure to do so, unless as a result of extraordinary circumstances, will result in their forfeiting their place on the committee.
